Often used on commercial vehicles, magnetic signs—also known as magnetic stickers, magnet stickers, or magnetic vehicle signs—are a great temporary signage option. Steel and other ferrous metals are the only metals to which magnetic signals “stick.” Although the majority of cars have steel body panels, some more specialised cars are composed of carbon fibre or fibreglass and won’t work with them.
